What are specialty items?
Specialty items are any bulky, delicate, or heavy items outside of your normal move. Things like big mirrors, fragile electronics, and large appliances. In addition things like art whether its sculptures, delicate paintings or other pieces.
- Ask us how we transport these items. We have a lot of experience moving these things and will happily explain our methods.
- Many front-load washers/dryers have special pins to secure their drums. We are happy to install these pins for you if you still have them. These pins are particularly vital for transporting front-load washers/dryers up & down flights of stairs.
Bulky Items
Please Note: We do not move baby grand or grand pianos.
Pianos (45″ tall or less):
2 hr minimum and travel fee with a 4-man crew applies – plus an additional $100
Additional $100 if there are more than 4 consecutive stairs at starting or ending location
Additional $100 for each additional piano
Pianos (greater than 45″ tall):
2 hr minimum and travel fee with a 4-man crew applies – plus an additional $100
Additional $100 if there are more than 4 consecutive stairs at starting or ending location
Additional $200 for each additional piano
Small Gun Safes (140–400 lbs):
2 hr minimum and travel fee with a 3-man crew applies – plus an additional $50
Additional $50 if there are more than 4 consecutive stairs at starting or ending location
Additional $100 for each additional gun safe
Large Gun Safes (400–600 lbs):
2 hr minimum and travel fee with a 4-man crew applies – plus an additional $50
Additional $75 if there are more than 4 consecutive stairs at starting or ending location
Additional $150 for each additional gun safe
What we can’t transport
As much as we’d love to, we can’t transport everything – especially dangerous items. See below for what we can’t transport.
