The earlier the better! 2-4 weeks is what we usually prefer, but if you plan on moving during our peak times which is summer, end of the month, or a weekend, please call us 4-6 weeks before your planned date.

No. You can leave your clothing in your drawers. Your dressers will be padded shrink-wrapped and padded which will not only protect them while in transit, it will prevent the drawers from opening.

Yes, we are fully licensed with the Public Utilities Commission of Virginia and we carry Cargo, Motor Vehicle, and General Liability Insurance. Cavalier Moving is also registered with the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration under USDOT #4061087.

We accept cash and all major credit/debit cards. There is a 3% fee for credit card payments.
